Due to the restrictions inherent in Salesforce Community Licenses, users of these license types require additional configuration steps to be carried out so they can use the Axsy Mobile for Salesforce app.


  1. Clone the Axsy Mobile permission set and provide it with a suitable name, click Save when finished.


  2. Click on the newly created Permission Set navigate to Assigned Apps, click Edit and remove the Axsy Mobile assigned app, click Save when finished.


  3. Next, navigate to Object Settings and remove the View All permission for App Bundles, Smart Vision Models and Smart Vision Model Versions.

    Note: View All or Modify All permissions must not be applied for any object, the above changes apply to Axsy custom objects, but you may wish to check all other objects.

  4. Navigate to Setup ➔ Sharing Settings, click Edit, locate App Config Version and change the Default External Access to Public Read Only, click Save when finished.

  5. Login with the Axsy Mobile app with a user that has the above permission set applied and check that the user logs in successfully by inspecting the Axsy Mobile web app Events Tab for login and initial sync events completing successfully and without any error messages in the Axsy Mobile app
